Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Nairobi – Flight to Masai Mara 

On arrival clear immigration and collect your luggage before being met by a representative and transferred to Wilson airport where you will catch your light aircraft flight into the Mara Olkiombo Airstrip. On arrival you will be met and game-driven to first eco tented camp along the Talek River where you will stay for two nights. In the afternoon your afternoon game drive is planned.

Day 2: Masai Mara 

After breakfast a naturalist Maasai Guide will take you on a camp walk. An interesting way to learn more how the camp tries to make only a positive impact on the environment. After lunch, you will meet your guide for your afternoon game drive; that also includes a sundowner. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Naboisho Wildlife Conservancy

Today an early start with a morning game drive. Coming back to the camp, where you will have breakfast and time to collect your things and prepare to continue your journey to the nearby Naboisho Conservancy. Check in at the new camp and go out on an afternoon game drive within the Naboisho Wildlife Conservancy. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Naboisho Wildlife Conservancy

Start your day with a morning game drive, followed by a picnic breakfast on the savannah. After your game drive visit students at nearby Koiyaki Guiding School. Upon return at the lodge lunch will be served. In the afternoon your game drive will pass by a local village before continuing spotting the animals. Before it gets dark you will have a sundowner on the savannah. Driving back (in the dark) infrared lights are used to allow you to spot the nocturnal animals of Naboisho.

Day 5: Naboisho Wildlife Conservancy

An early start with a morning walking safari across the savannah. Here you will learn the finer details of the savannah, including wildlife footprints and dung. Your walk finishes inside the incomparable Saddle Valley, where a wilderness camp is set up to spend the last two nights. After a midday relaxation an afternoon walk or game drive is planned.

Day 6: Naboisho Wildlife Conservancy

After an early breakfast prepare for a full day walking safari. As the day gets warmer your guide will choose a suitable acacia tree, under which you can relax and refuel on a packed lunch. Return to the wilderness camp for sunset, dinner and a (well deserved) overnight.

Day 7: Masai Mara – Wilson Airport – Road transfer to Nairobi JKIA

Start your day with a morning walking safari or game drive. Return at the camp for breakfast. After breakfast collect your things and get transferred to the local airstrip to catch your afternoon flight back to Nairobi arriving at Wilson Airport. Upon arrival your driver will pick you up for a transfer to the international airport where you are scheduled to catch your home-bound flight back home. Alternatively, finish your holiday relaxing on an exotic beach with water activities along the Kenyan coast.
